A quick update on the NZNOG conference, which is next week in Wellington. If you are planning to attend but haven't registered yet please do so now at http://2011.nznog.org/register - early registration ensures we can get catering numbers right. Imagine not being able to enjoy a muffin at morning tea when all of your peers are scoffing down their third... There's still space for most tutorials and workshops, however the IPv6 Workshop is full. There are still slots in the routing workshop (which due to popular demand will cover off a bunch of IPv6 routing, but not as fully as the IPv6 workshop). Cecil from Team Cymru has been waylaid in Brisbane due to flooding, and he was pretty gutted to let us know that he will no longer be able to make it over, and as a result the security tutorial has had to be withdrawn. If (you had registered and the security tutorial) && (No one has already contacted you about this) { If you are happy to swap to a different tutorial { Please let me know off list which one; } If the security tutorial was the end all be all for you { Please let me know off list and we can arrange a refund for the tutorial; } } else { Keep calm and carry on; } I know, I know, the semicolons aren't essential at the end of a single statement in a conditional with PHP, but it's pseudo code for goodness sakes and that's the way I've done it so please just let it drop. Thanks again to all of our sponsors, special mention to our hosts, Vodafone, and our platinum sponsor, Vocus. I'm looking forward to seeing recurring and new faces next week :^) Cheers, Gerard for the NZNOG11 Org Committee
