All, Please pardon the slightly off topic post, but ACTA negotiations do have some possibly significant implications for ISP's and network operators, with an alternate route to achieving a "3 strikes" law. Following from the issues around copyright law and Section 92A, (3 strikes and termination) is concern about the ACTA negotiations happening in Wellington this week. ACTA is an attempt to bring in restrictions related to the Internet through a plurilateral agreement that is meant to be focused on counterfeiting. InternetNZ ran the PublicACTA event on Saturday to produce a public statement to take to the New Zealand negotiators. I urge you to read the resultant "Wellington Declaration" at www.publicacta.org.nz, and if you feel strongly about the issues, to sign the on-line petition. Regards Keith Davidson
