Why not? The bane of most Telco's is how to _stop_ selling legacy products. It's hard for them because they sell so much of them. I don't see it being any different for IPv4. It's been an interesting few threads on IPv6 the past few days and given all the excitement I find it odd that nobody has mentioned that http://v6ix.nzix.net/peers.html returns a 404.
