I would like to be involved and could supply Live content which I am licensed in the form of BBC World 24 Hour and Radio New Zealand National Program 24 hour live. Some years ago 1997 we set the Radio New Zealand Site http://www.rnz.co.nz . In 1998 Peter Fitchett along with help from Josh Bailey and Dean were able to successfully enable multicasting to dial-in Xtra Users (where multicast rights are assigned) on the 087303030 dial-in network as well as to DDS clients where correctly configured. The BBC World is 24kbs RealVideo and the National Program is 16kbs RealAudio. Where to from here ? Best regards Michael Sutton +64 21 305500 voice +64 21 305002 facsimile +64 4 4759235 dungeon

Perhaps we could use it to multicast live ISONCZ council meetings. We'd need some way of protecting the minds of children from the rabid proceedings within, of course.
Seriously though, does anybody have any live content they want to distribute? I could organise a home and transit for a live Sky Tower cam if someone feels like donating some hardware. Although this would be almost entirely useless, it would be (a) fun, (b) cool eye candy and (c) a "useful proof of concept" [1].
