In my experience as a customer with complex requirements it is completely
fruitless talking to the salespeople.  Our desire to spend tens of thousands
falls on deaf ears in the commission-paid sales departments of many ISPs...

But we all know that there's no fast and reliable domestic product, don't we?  Wireless has too high a latency, ADSL is over subscribed and largely useless when you have a situation where you need the network to be there, and TC aren't building their cable with any enthusiasm at present.

If you want infrastructure you can't talk to an ISP, in my experience they only do services not physical connections.  Get a Frame from your house to CHIX (is CHIX up yet?), then peer there from your data centre as well.

Weird that the telcos always want your phones though - even when they're only a fraction of your overall spend...
