Kia ora koutou,

I've been running a User Group in Wellington for the last three months - it's a place to discuss network implementations in the datacentre, service-provider or enterprise arena. The stated interests of the group are network ecosystem tools including monitoring and configuration deployment, as well as network technology topics ranging from protocol options to ASIC choices.

To date, the user group has covered techologies including automatic pre-change testing, EVPN implementations in the DC, infrastructure as code and IPAM software.

Our next meeting is on Thursday the 23rd of January, from 16:30 in the Thistle Inn, with a short (20 minute) talk from 5:15 in the Katherine Mansfield room.
This month, we have a short presentation on monitoring and a demo of setting up prometheus, grafana & alertmanager as a network monitor suite.

You can track the talks, published code repositories and slide decks @ https://www.meetup.com/Open-Network-User-Group. Registration/RSVP is not required for those wishing to attend.

Cheers,
Alex White-Robinson.
