The following Xtra name servers will in future only accept queries from Non-Telecom customers for domains that the name servers are authoritative for. * dnsh1.xtra.co.nz ( 202.27.184.3 ) also known as alien.xtra.co.nz * dnsh2.xtra.co.nz ( 202.27.184.5 ) also known as terminator.xtra.co.nz
What action will those servers take when they receive a request from a non Xtra IP? Will they : 1. Quietly discard the request (as in, blocked by a front end firewall) 2. Return a referal to another DNS server e.g. .co.nz etc. 3. Return "invalid domain name" Cheers BG
