Could someone at Clear please have a look at this, we had max prefixes set at 200 and it's gone through that, I bumped them to 1000 and it's over that as well. I guess somebody stuffed up their filters.

Ummm... can't see anything obvious. The outbound route-map and prefix list for your BGP session is the same as for all our other peers - and none of them exhibits the problem you have highlighted (all showing less than 200 prefixes advertised). This is not to say that it was all OK when you noticed this yesterday. The session is down so I can't look any further. If I had an example of a leaked prefix...
All peering traffic is currently going via Netgate etc.
I tried ringing a few clear numbers we had and non of the guys seemed able to look at the problem. I suggested email here and one agreeded.
I can't speak for others here but I don't read NZNOG with any regularity. What's the latest on Mr Angelo? Funnily enough my name is listed as CLEAR's APE contact on www.ape.net.nz - which you maintain. You can change that to noc(a)clix.net.nz if you like. The APNIC db lists my mobile, DDI, and fax (how useful) numbers.
Anyway call our noc on 09 359 2708 if you need to talk to the duty guy here.
I'll do that. -Jamie --------- To unsubscribe from nznog, send email to majordomo(a)list.waikato.ac.nz where the body of your message reads: unsubscribe nznog
