try something like this..
admin> read ip-glo
IP-GLOBAL read
admin> set pool-base-address 1 = 1.2.3.4
admin> set assign-count 2 = 254
admin> wr
if you have more than one pool, you might want to add this..
admin> set pool-chaining = yes
you also might want to upgrade the TAOS.. version 9.09 is (still) available
free on
ftp.ascend.com
