Sure. Dean, do you want to send me information for configuring the multicast BGP address family, MSDP and possibly dvmrp on JunOS for me, and I'll add it.
Ok - no problems
It's true. Still, what can you do. I imagine that some people on NZNOG are just not interested, and can't be bothered listening to us going on over and over again about it[1].

Actually looking at the responses to the Conference Program stuff. Multicast is second only to IPv6 and just ahead of VoIP. It is also the only thing aproximating actual content on this list in months =) Dean - To unsubscribe from nznog, send email to majordomo(a)list.waikato.ac.nz where the body of your message reads: unsubscribe nznog

Yes Multicast is quite Interesting.. just at the moment there is hardly any content, probably because hardly anyone is on it (egg + chicken problem) Thanks Craig Whitmore Orcon Internet - To unsubscribe from nznog, send email to majordomo(a)list.waikato.ac.nz where the body of your message reads: unsubscribe nznog
So, to take this analogy further, what your saying is that for minimal Investment, I can create a chicken (hopefully without breaking to many eggs in the process) and eventually a rooster (who has the content) will probably come along and I can start counting my eggs, or at least the ones that hatch perhaps? Mmmm...chicken. It'll work in reverse, too - as well as having multicast content into your ISP, you can multicast content out (perhaps from customer audio/video streams, webcams, radio stations, mp3 playlists, large illegal collections of cool television shows, etc) and it can be pushed back into the mbone at minimal bandwidth cost to you, the source carrier.
