Does anyone read email to abuse@xtra.co.nz
If you do, and youre on this list... Take the time to bother to read my email, sort out your user, and reply to me. It really isnt that much to ask. regards, Jeremy Brooking.
No problems Jeremy. Sorry that you didn't receive a response right away to the email you sent to our Abuse team late yesterday afternoon. Emails to that address are handled on a first in first out basis and unfortunately recent volumes have meant that there can sometimes be a lag between emails being received, and responses being sent. In cases of emergency or when you require on the spot resolution (such as for dealing with the issue you forwarded yesterday), I would suggest it more prudent to perhaps use the phone as a means to getting your issues resolved in a more timely manner? http://www.usenet.net.nz/noc/ lists several numbers that we can be reached at 24/7. I would personally recommend the NOC number. At 15:09 7/04/04, Jeremy Brooking wrote:
