What do you use to drive it? I see the ActiveXperts software is another US$395 ....
Must be a simpler way.
SMS link http://smslink.sourceforge.net/ Pro's works well once setup and tuned. Has support for MySQL Supports all major SMS modems though I'm unsure of the support for Nokia or any cellphone. Con's - slow to process send / receive (as is most software because the msgs get stored on the SIM card first) Good for low traffic, unsuited to bulk send/receive. Note to the person suggesting using a cellphone. SMS modems use a pretty standardised AT command set and you talk to them just like you would to a modem. Cellphones AFAIK usually have proprietory interfaces.

The Nokia we use presents a standard Hayes compatible modem interface (AT commands etc), and this is fairly common. As you say though, some older/cheaper cellphones present a proprietary interface. -- -Michael Fincham Unleash Technology Solutions
