Based on the numbers in this press release: http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/CU0801/S00171.htm and combined with our own figures and info from the non publically owned stations, I'd estimate that NZ broadcasters were doing in excess of 1 gigabit/s. There might have been a few bottlenecks around the place.
