Hi all, Just to clarify a few things about bigben.clix.net.nz (which btw is a Truetime NTS90 - http://www.truetime.com/). Where is it located? On top of the CLEAR building in Takapuna, Auckland. Who operates it? The CLEAR Net Team What is the time reference? GPS Is it publicly available? Yes, in that there are no filters on it stating who can use it - but it is not designed to handle thousands of clients. This device was offered to people in NZNOG as a reference stratum 1 clock source. I suppose this meant that we expected other ISPs to sync their stratum 2 servers using it, if they wished and according to NTP ettiquite would get their user bases to sync of these stratum 2 servers. It seems to work just fine if used this way.
