List of ADSL providers
Hello, I'm trying to compile a complete list of nz's ADSL providers for an onlinan sale site. Can anyone point me to the one, or post one on this list? Tia dali - To unsubscribe from nznog, send email to majordomo(a)list.waikato.ac.nz where the body of your message reads: unsubscribe nznog
Funnily enough Telecom keep this information./ http://www.telecom.co.nz/content/0,,100621-200135,00.html I found it by starting the online DSL application service and clicking on the link next to where it asks you to choose an ISP. Mark. At 10:47 10/05/02 +1200, Dalibor Andzakovic wrote:

The Onlinans are lucky, as the list of generally-available DSL providers is quite manageable: 1. Telecom New Zealand. 2. Certain customers of Telecom New Zealand. Witness the choice available through the wonders of deregulation! Joe - To unsubscribe from nznog, send email to majordomo(a)list.waikato.ac.nz where the body of your message reads: unsubscribe nznog
Funny, I was trying to give everyone a chance, since telecom's list is outdated. eg: web internet doesn't exist anymore. dali

I went to the page http://www.telecom.co.nz/content/0,,100621-200135,00.html and had a look and the WebInternet logo is still there In fact the image URL for their logo on that page is: http://www.telecom.co.nz/images/2/winlogosm.gif
It isn't hard to be listed on the page if you are providing DSL.

The Onlinans are lucky, as the list of generally-available DSL providers is quite manageable: 1. Telecom New Zealand. 2. Certain customers of Telecom New Zealand. Is it possible that they aren't on the page due to one of the reasons below: a. They haven't or didn't ask to be on the page b. They are reselling DSL off someone on that list rather than off Telecom An example would be the ISPs reselling Orcon's fastadsl.net.nz. They are listed on the fastadsl page. You can't blame Telecom for not knowing about them if they aren't registered as a DSL reseller with Telecom.
I don't think anyone has complained about not being listed there. On the other hand, I doubt they would complain in here. I suggest you have a look at the excellent dsl portals available like www.nzadsl.co.nz OR do a page with the ISPs you know and then ask on the DSL mailing list (not here) who you have missed out. The customers (and isp staff) on the list will be fast to sing out. As far as I know.. the people listed on that page are only the end ISP's who offer DSL (the ISP's who actually get the service directly from Telecom). As Lin say a large number of other ISP's go thru these main ISP's to offer jetstream/jetstart as well for their customers. If you are an ISP who is buying DSL from another ISP, I don't think you'll be able to get on that list on Telecom's Page. I agree with what Craig has to say. Cheers, Sahil On Sat, 11 May 2002, Craig Whitmore wrote:
