RE: [nznog] Current Jetstream 'Deal'...
People, As you may recall, our AUP requires that 1. Discussion will focus on Internet operational and technical issues. This thread should, in my view, either acquire some operational or technical content or go away. - Donald Neal

Not to mention their less than THIN excuses for not allowing ISP's to control IP address assignment on Jetstart. Do they even still have a reason?
Telecom are way overdue for a big slap in the face over these issues.

Sorry for continuing this thread Donald. Most of this subject has been discussed to its death on the NZADSL mailing list. To read the archives head to www.unixathome.org/adsl . If you wish to continue the discussion you can happily subscribe to this list (or adsl-chat). The NZADSL list is probably a much more "On Topic" place to discuss these issues, but please keep posts technical in nature. Anyway, sorry for the follow up, thread closed (I hope). Doesn't ISPs discussing operational issues surrounding the provision of DSL to customers count? -- Juha
