This IS off topic, but has been done before (Hi James and Matt!) so please indulge me. :) I find myself having been made redundant from Callplus, with nothing else immediately lined up as alternate employment. If any of my fellow nznog denizens have any kind of position suitable for an experienced tech/tech-manager, please let me know about it - my mortgage must be fed. Salary is fairly unimportant, as long as there is some. Hours are also fairly unimportant, as is location (though it'll have to be Auckland). Part-time is fine, too. Weekends also fine. I come complete with an optional terabyte or so of disk, packed to the gills with TV shows, and bolted to a high-spec server. This _may_ accompany me to a new gig, if that gig finds it acceptable to have such a thing on their network, but it's 100% optional.
