OT - Is anyone working on anything new for high-speed remote access, for areas that will never yet DSL or other cable services? Satellite with dialup is fine, but after 15 km of copper, having bypassed electric fence units, then factoring encapsulation, corporate VPN, and remote access client to said box, more gg's would be good. It's a question I get asked from time to time. Any suggestions would be good. Reply of list. I think the appropriate answer from previous flame email seen on this list is: "Contact me off-list" Regards Mark Frater Quicksilver Internet ----- Original Message ----- From: rod_christie(a)wilsonandhorton.co.nz To: nznog(a)list.waikato.ac.nz Sent: Tuesday, April 29, 2003 1:06 PM Subject: [nznog] OT - Remote access OT - Is anyone working on anything new for high-speed remote access, for areas that will never yet DSL or other cable services?
