No, for anyone who has inhabited the main IETF discussion list for more than a few weeks, this is not strange at all. I suspect the same is true for the NANOG list, but I mainly avoid that one because of its signal/noise ratio. But isn't the impact of a new law on operations a valid topic anyway? I think the S/N ratio on this list is pretty good actually, but since this is N, I will shut up immediately. Brian
