It came across as Fri, 31 Dec 1999 22:08:28 -1200 here. I think it's the GMT-12 timezone that is doing it :) Joe -- Ua lawa küpono ka hakahaka pä o këia pä malule --------- To unsubscribe from nznog, send email to majordomo(a)list.waikato.ac.nz where the body of your message reads: unsubscribe nznog

Nope, we're still here. Great fire-works. Best for the New Year all. Lucky for some... I went down to the Viaduct where all the America's cup boats and stuff are (a friend works for a syndicate or something). We had an absolutely spectacular view of the rain interrupted by a faint flicker of fireworks every now and then... really horrible stuff (what was that you were saying about "honest Auckland weather" Jamie?). The Split-Enz concert was pretty cool though... (didn't go in, but sort of lurked for a bit). To make it worse, when I got home it turned out it look pretty terrible on TV too and then I managed to see the Syndey event which was really quite amazing, I was really very impressed. Oh well, I'm off to bed, still pondering the psychological effects of `date' because it looks kinda funny now. Have a Happy New Year everyone! -cw --------- To unsubscribe from nznog, send email to majordomo(a)list.waikato.ac.nz where the body of your message reads: unsubscribe nznog

Is it just me or does "Syndicate" seems somehow wholly appropriate for a huge con involving large sums of money and a very few rich people. I wonder what would really happen if you turned up with some Hawkes Bay "wegetables" to sell at the viaduct basin? --------- To unsubscribe from nznog, send email to majordomo(a)list.waikato.ac.nz where the body of your message reads: unsubscribe nznog
