Went to fire up the TV One stream to catch the news but it seems to be broadcasting TV2 instead?
done battle with remotes. Should be all good now. no front panel controls and 3 STBs use the same remote. <sigh> at least I got the weather for next few days. (missed tomorrow, of course) There is some blocking artifacts due to satellite reception at the moment. This is also the cause of the occasional hue. Tomorrow we will try and put up some alternate bit rates for you to try as well as making the web pages a little more coherent. But what you see now is here to stay, so you can tell folks about it. rich

How about TV3 or an audio stream of C4 (since it's always bloody music now) ? I enjoy lunchtime Dr Phil ;) - Drew P.S TV2 needs a slight volume increase

I believe TVNZ are more "comfortable" with rebroadcasting of their
channels, provided they stay within NZ. TV3 is not. Certainly that shows
in the way TV1/2 are in the clear over Optus B1, but TV3 is not (it's
encrypted with Sky's implementation of NDS VideoGuard).
I can get TV1/2 just fine with my budget DVB-S card (no CI, no onboard
MPEG-2 decoder), and I don't need a set-top box at all. But I can't
quite get it stable in Linux for some reason.

Hey David and all, Yep - that's right/correct. :) By the way, for anybody who wants to know, about 10 mins or so ago, I put the volume of the TV2 stream up a few notches.
