What options do people in/around the Christchurch CBD have ? AFAIK TelstraClear cable is fairly predominant around there. Any other options? Local wireless/fibre carriers ? -Richard

IIRC, it's wireless to the customer, and dial-up from the customer. -- Juha

- I used to look after an IPExpress circuit getting Internet from TelstraClear, so there's that. - We were looking at reselling the above Internet access over Proxim stuff when I was doing some work for the E-Centre on the Massey uni campus in Albany. They might be able to help you out.. - WebInterNet used to maintain a wireless network around the Albany basin. WIN were bought by Maxnet some years ago, the wireless network was bought back by David Gottschalk () since then. Netspeed would be an option, our wireless network runs straight back into Snap..... gear is 10mbps capable (HD) but i'm not sure what they run the plans upto... let me know if interested, and I';; get someone to call you Richard Patterson wrote:
