OK, you've all got a lot uglier and the format of the conference is significantly different this year... I don't for example, recall anyone leading conference speakers around in a ring while they were dressed in horse costumes. Additionally, the discussion on BGP for resilient services sounded a lot more like a horsie auction than I expected. Are the NZnog streams up anywhere? Yes I followed the links on the NZnog site... http://2009.nznog.org/streaming Cheers - N
All the dates on that R2.co.nz page only say 29-30th Jan - so it may only be for tomorrow and fri (As far as R2 are concerned)? Although those horses look very fast - maybe they could carry a few tape library's up and down the country. Broadband old school. I thought it had been posted here quite clearly but I apologise if it was not clear. There was no intention to stream the tutorial day (Wednesday). The conference proper starts tomorrow and it will be streamed. To improve clarification I have updated http://2009.nznog.org/streaming - and I do conceed this should've been done sooner so that the situation was clear. My apologies on behalf of the organisers for any ambiguity. (And i'm not volunteering to run the Auction... i'm not convinced that my monotone is quite up to par.) Mark. Further to that, I just observed them pulling into the parking lot... -- Regards, Ed Hintz ed(a)hintz.org

Chuckle... It's been pointed out by a number of people that I fail at reading dates on web-pages and on careful re-examination of the written material RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY DAMN EYES, I would be forced to agree. I think it was the stream URL of: http://www.r2.co.nz/20090129/nznog-09-384.asx that confused me :-) I will however be somewhat disappointed if at least one of the presentations isn't in the style of an auctioneer... I'll run an IPv4 address auction if you want. We could sell off some of the /16s that Roger keeps talking about. -- Nathan Ward

No doubt there'll be plenty of horseplay over the next few days... Poolside sessions will not be streamed though :). Cheers, Jonny.

Neigh!
Hi Neil I don't think they were streaming the Tutorial, only the conference tomorrow But the page at http://www.r2.co.nz/20090129/ does say "29, 30 January 2008" and "webcast live from the NZ Bloodstock Sales Centre, in Karaka, Auckland" Mike On Jan 27, 2009, at 2:21 PM, Neil Gardner wrote:
