Hi everyone NZNOG 2010 is over and now is time to start looking towards NZNOG 2011. First of all, your org team for NZNOG 2010 was: Jonny Martin Dean Pemberton Sam Sargeant Gerard Creamer Alastair Johnson Neil Fenemor Richard Nelson and myself Many thanks to everyone on that list. Ours hosts for NZNOG 2010 were the WAND group and Rural Link. Without them the conference would not have been possible. First of all we need to appoint an org team to manage NZNOG 2011. If you are interested in being part of the org team for 2011 then please pass your details on to me off-list. I will then compile a list of potentials for the NZNOG trustees to make their final selection from. I won't be part of the NZNOG 2011 org team so we've definitely looking for some new blood this time around. If you have any particular roles that you think you could do well then please include those in your email. To give you some ideas we definitely need some people who can take care of: -Bags and shirts (including collecting sponsors logos) -Budgeting and overseeing the NZNOG financials -Looking after all of our sponsors Next, we also need to decide on a venue and location for NZNOG 2011. So, if you think you'd like to host a NZNOG or know someone that would then please let me know. We've only been to the South Island once so far so another trip down there would be fun!
