I received one of these as well requesting i register my name with a .net (not .net.nz) extension - this may produce even more issues as this would be outside the control of the DNC. the listed address is 20, 135 Albert St in Auckland - I considered wandering into town to go and LART them in person.. my domain was only registered February of this year so they have managed to get a list of .nz names after this point. -- Steve. I'm not sure whether they are using an old version of the .nz zone file (although these haven't been available for at least 18 months), or they have some scripting engine pulling the information of the general WhoIs. This breaches the DNC policy on use of private information for commercial gain, yada, yada ...

Google for "level 20 135 albert st" and you see a few other domain registration and e-commerce companies. Related?
