Can someone from xtra please contact me offlist
Someone I know has a Dialup Xtra Account, so they are from Xtra. Good enough? Xtra is a large place..different people look after different things who may or may not be on this list. Dialup problem? Mail Problem? DNS Problem? Something else problem... too many to name. Being Serious now.. This mailing lists isn't for "please can someone contact me". There are other more official and better ways of contacting people who can help you. You could try: http://xtra.co.nz/help/0,,14395,00.html which seems to be the official ways of contacting them. Maybe we could start an nznog-contact-me list? Put all this kind of traffic into one place, and whenever someone asks for abc from xyz to contact them we can LART them suitably. -- Matthew Poole "Don't use force. Get a bigger hammer."

No I mean an actual mailing list, where the clueles and/or terminally lazy can ask to be contacted - by someone who probably doesn't read the list in the first place. -- Matthew Poole "Don't use force. Get a bigger hammer."

You mean the list that hasn't updated for a couple of years, regardless of several requests to do so? There were promises in Dec 06 that the updates had all been passed on by Simon and would be applied forthwith, but as yet I haven't seen it happen.
Sorry all. This is my fault. I still intend to do this. It is on my
todo list for when I get back from holiday. Am currently away till
June.

The fatal flaw with this sort of thing is that you assume the user can actually read. Nathan Ward wrote:
