APNIC EC Election ----------------- During the APNIC Member Meeting (AMM) in Kuala Lumpur on Friday, 5 March 2009, the following candidates were elected to the APNIC EC. * Ma Yan * Akinori Maemura * Che-Hoo Cheng Election details are available here: http://meetings.apnic.net/29/elections/ec Community Consultation ---------------------- In collaboration with the NRO, APNIC hosted a Community Consultation at APNIC 29 to give the technical community, amongst other stakeholders, an opportunity to discuss the issues and ramifications of the ITU's possible entry into the IP address management arena. Outcomes of this Community Consultation, including video, audio, and transcripts of this interactive session, are available on the session agenda page. Following input from the community, a statement to the ITU IPv6 Group reached consensus and will be submitted, along with a report from the session chair. http://meetings.apnic.net/29/program/consultation Policy SIG ---------- Six policy proposals were discussed.
