Why is snap not peering with the Auckland peering exchange? Damn slow exchanging data with some clients when using snap internet through the global gateway compared to when using an ISP who use APE. Regards, Ernest Cunningham

SNAP (based in Christchurch) peer at the WIX but not the APE. Perhaps the question should be 'why is the global gateway not peering at WIX?' Of course, there's another question there around what you mean by "the global gateway". If you mean Telecom NZ's service called "Global Gateway" you might want to ask yourself 'just because they call it "Global Gateway", does it actually mean that it is?'
