Juha. I run a private mail system, and as has been noted on the list before now, blocking via SORBS on private systems is, well, up to them. I.e. its my choice. I run my own MTA and make my own choices. Were I paying an ISP for mail services rendered, well, that position would be different.. wouldnt it? Your attempt to be a smartarse doesn't really make a lot of sense, because my position doesn't change - if you're an ISP and your business is providing email service to people, its a little different to my situation. You're the first "legitimate' person to point out any problems. I provide a web form go-around for people to report issues, the few friends I provide mail service for are fully aware of the RBL and they've never complained. Nor has anyone else... except for you. ;) Since 0630 this morning i've dropped nearly 150 unique hosts via the sorbs list in question.... more than happy to share the list of IPs if anyone really wants to verify the 'collateral damage' risks. I also run a script which loads all .cn and .kr located IP ranges and drops them en-masse. That script, plus the SORBS one I use, for the 24 hours ended 00:00:01 this morning, dropped nearly 1300 inbound connections for a total of 479 unique hosts. I make no apologies for doing this on my _personal_ _not-for-profit_ mail service. But cheers for helping me make that distinction more clear, Juha. :) Mark. On a more serious note, even Outblaze bounces messages now based on the wrong SORBS listing. @#(*)^$@!!!
