Is someone going to take control of these in-addr.arpa zones? They're
currently pointing to various strange places:
0.7.202.in-addr.arpa. 35450 NS elrond.otago.ac.nz.
0.7.202.in-addr.arpa. 35450 NS rata.vuw.ac.nz.
0.7.202.in-addr.arpa. 35450 NS gemini.dcc.govt.nz.
1.7.202.in-addr.arpa. 81072 NS gemini.dcc.govt.nz.
1.7.202.in-addr.arpa. 81072 NS elrond.otago.ac.nz.
1.7.202.in-addr.arpa. 81072 NS rata.vuw.ac.nz.
These nameservers are (reasonably enough!) not responding to queries on
these zones. This makes my traceroutes messy, and we can't have that ;)

Hi Joe Yes, Rex (Croft) and I started taking control of these zones before I went on holiday last week. I'd observed that it hadn't happened while I was away, but I haven't yet had a chance to get back in contact with Rex to establish why. Cheers Si On Wed, 19 Aug 1998, Joe Abley wrote:
