TCL -> Callplus/Slingshot issues
All day yesterday I was unable to see any of the Callplus/Slingshot network from my TCL cable connection (obviously due to the Telecom problems). This issue was resolved last night but is now occuring again. I've given up trying to ring the TCL helpdesk (wait times listed as 90 mins despite no known network issues) so am at least hoping somebody reading this may be able to look into the issue if they're not already. All other internet sites from TCL are working fine so it appears to be some sort of routing issue somewhere..

No. If you read this list yesterday or checked Computerworld you'd have seen TCL had some issues on their core network at the same time. Unfortunate co-incidence (presuming one didn't cause the other). -- Web: http://wand.net.nz/~iam4/ Blog: http://iansblog.jandi.co.nz WAND Network Research Group
Yeah, we've had a bunch of slingshot customers calling saying they can't get to us (we're on TelstraClear). Seems they've got similar issues to the ones experienced yesterday, whereby peering between slingshot and TelstraClear is broken. Had someone a while ago say it was alright again now though, can anyone on slingshot confirm (a quick trip to our home page should confirm if it is). Cheers, Stephen Ian McDonald wrote:

Looks like the TCL -> Callplus/Slingshot issue has been fixed.

Your home page (www.digiweb.co.nz) works fine from an Auckland based
