Thanks Donald, I have just finished migrating the NZNOG list from list.waikato.ac.nz to lists.nznog.org. I don’t have any reason to believe that anything’s gone wrong, but please bear with me today if it turns out that something has. For 26 and a half years, the University of Waikato have very generously hosted the NZNOG list for us - I think the whole industry would thank them for this. The NZNOG list that they have hosted has been crucial for the development of the NZ Internet. Times change, and list.waikato.ac.nz is shutting down, so we have a new home on mailmanlists.net. Effective immediately, please post to nznog@lists.nznog.org. If you are hosting a list of NOG mailing lists, please update your records. The subscribers and archives have all been retained, and everything is available at https://lists.nznog.org for your reminiscing and subscription management pleasure. https://www.nznog.org/mailing-list has the details as always. Ps. Apologies for the double post - this is the first post to the new list, but wanted to make sure it got to everyone’s mailboxes, so sent it to both the old and the new. So really, if you get it twice it’s actually a good thing! If you don’t get it twice, check your spam boxes. Pps. After sending this message, I’m going to block new posts to the old list. -- Nathan Ward

I seem to remember a few of us sitting down in Taupo one day in the late nineties and talking about whether we might try to start some kind of Internet geek community thing. Donald said something like "we are hosting this NZNOG list at the University of Waikato but nobody is using it much, it's loosely based on what Merit is doing with NANOG, perhaps we could start with that." Twenty-six years, is it? It's always alarming to be reminded how much time has passed. Anyway, thanks indeed, Donald and Waikato! Joe
