Clint said that there was a fibre cut between Auckland and Hamilton. Apparently it's Telecom fibre, not Clear fibre.
It's seems CLIX and Netgate peer at Waikato, so now I'm getting 600ms ping times to Netgate connections from CLIX :-(
That on top of total loss of bandwidth at 13:00, which has now improved to dog slow international access. :-(

I may not be 100% correct but...
1) The International/National Clear Data Outage/Routing Issues
2) The IP Express Outage
3) Hamilton Fibre Cut (Affecting Clear Circuits with Telecom Tails)
Where all completely different problems unrelated I was told (By Clear), but
all happened around the same time (Today)

HI all This message only applies to all those who peer at Global Gateway. The MetService has starting advertising the following through us: 202.21.130.0/24 there AS is 17792. We are advertising this to Global Gateway. As of last week a number of "smaller" ISP's can see the new route, and are routing correctly to the metservice via GG->Voyager->Metservice. Clear and Xtra currently are routing to the new network via the USA. Im assuming that Clear and Xtra ( and possibly others ) filter from GG based on AS Paths? Can the relevant people at the afore mentioned ISP's ( and any others connected to GG who filter based on AS path) , check/modify there AS path filters to allow for this new subnet via Global Gateway. If this isnt the case can Clear/Xtra look into it, and see why there routes go via the USA? PS We (Voyager) plan to be connected to APE soon, so look forward to peering with you all there.
