A new fibre install has just showed up in a shared basement riser. It's currently not connected and no-one in the building is claiming it's theirs. The only identifying mark (written in pen on electrical tape) is "VS-42xxx" (xxx are numbers). Would anyone know which fibre company tags their new installs with labels in this format? We've been told fibre would be unavailable for years at this location, so would really like to get a circuit from that cable, if I only knew who to call.... Thanks Paul Adshead

Maybe ask the building management as someone must have let them in/given them permission to install it in there.

That's hilarious. There's always a receptionist with keys to the basement or pabx room that will give up keys without asking questions if you've got an orange vest and a decent looking id card. -JB
In my experience the ID card is optional, though I prefer yellow vests, they look a little more telco.

Thanks for the offline help guys. Several of you have suggested
VisionStream (Chorus sub-contractor) doing UFB work.
