After a day and a half of delays due to low cloud, the airport had only just reopened yesterday morning and airlines were trying to clear the backlog of thousands of passengers. Today, weather conditions at the airport are being described as marginal and deteriorating. Some flights are getting out and one from Nelson has managed to land.
