Anyone know what's up with APE? All my peering sessions are down. My connection is still up, however. Is there a problem with the switch? Three sessions up for 150 odd hours, but Zivo and Attica been up and down like mad. I'd suggest Clear are doing VLAN madness, like they were last week. magellan MRTd# sh bgp summ Routing Protocol is "BGP4+", Local Router ID is 192.203.154.1, Local AS is 9560 Neighbor V AS Update(R/S) Notify Up/Dwn Hours State Plain (192.203.154.12) 4 9559 0/0 3357/0 0/0 0.02 Idle QSI (192.203.154.28) 4 9727 181022/82 0/0 1/0 148 Established Telstra (192.203.154.32) 4 4763 17694/85 0/0 1/0 148 Established AOL (192.203.154.44) 4 4770 199/31 1/0 2/1 136 Established Zivo (192.203.154.45) 4 9495 28958/90 11/1 2/1 0.21 Established Attica (192.203.154.46) 4 9790 162/200 0/1 10/9 0.20 Established Cheers Si --------- To unsubscribe from nznog, send email to majordomo(a)list.waikato.ac.nz where the body of your message reads: unsubscribe nznog

Looks like it was Clear playing with their VLAN's again i assume. Our sessions to them, and our IPExpress link (Which transits APE) was down from 10am, till around 5pm i believe. (Yesterday 10/12/00) Clear surveillance didn't know anything about it (in fact, i had to try and explain to the guy what BGP was. It appears that Surveillance are not the people to contact in regards to this sort of thing... anyone have a better number?), and emails to noc(a)clear and noc(a)clix gave no reponse. I'm living in hope that someday someone will tell us what happened, since it happened a couple of times in the last week or so too. --- Matt Camp Head Geek Mercury Telecoms --------- To unsubscribe from nznog, send email to majordomo(a)list.waikato.ac.nz where the body of your message reads: unsubscribe nznog

There are now 10 Companies listed however there are still a few out there that have not got themselves on the list. Could these people please contact me and get themselves added. And I do read the logs so I know you know it exists (Meaning two large Telco's). Lin Nah has written a form for you to add the details easily: http://www.usenet.net.nz/noc/update.html -- Simon Lyall. | Newsmaster | Work: simon.lyall(a)ihug.co.nz Senior Network/System Admin | | Home: simon(a)darkmere.gen.nz ihug, Auckland, NZ | Asst Doorman | Web: http://www.darkmere.gen.nz --------- To unsubscribe from nznog, send email to majordomo(a)list.waikato.ac.nz where the body of your message reads: unsubscribe nznog
