Doesn't causality mess up space/time? The only way I can see to get around this would be to refuse to pay the hotline and deny a problem ever existed. Stewart Fleming wrote:

We gave this solution a go for a while but every time there was a full moon we started getting random alerts predicting an imminent system failure. These days we use a telecom solution which is generally reliable... Provided it's not our mail server which has died. While there has been the occasional delayed message (2 - 3 hours) they generally come through within a few seconds. Cheers, Darrin
