Scheduled: Work on ihug to APE link 3pm Friday.
Just a note that we will be doing some work on our link to APE at 3pm this afternoon. Hopefully it should only take a minutes but be might see the odd error. We have also been adjusting our wellington setup this afternoon if people notice any changes to our WIX advertising. This should all be stable soon. -- Simon Lyall. | Newsmaster | Work: simon.lyall(a)ihug.co.nz Senior Network/System Admin | Postmaster | Home: simon(a)darkmere.gen.nz ihug, Auckland, NZ | Asst Doorman | Web: http://www.darkmere.gen.nz - To unsubscribe from nznog, send email to majordomo(a)list.waikato.ac.nz where the body of your message reads: unsubscribe nznog

Then do it the other way. We don't do functional and system specs any more. Develop a prototype, throw it at the users and then evolve it to their requirements. Linux is a classic example if this methodology. At its core the SRS is a pretty simple shared access database with selective update rights. Would an Open Source prototype SRS kick things into life?
