From 4:45am to about 5:00am Sunday morning the 12-Dec-1999 there will be a

power outage in Waikato University's main computer room. This will cause an outage for the NZIX and for all of the DOMAINZ services during this time. This is due to a serious fault found in the UPS this morning. Unfortunately the fault is in the bypass switch so we are unable to bypass the UPS to keep the Computer room running while we work on the UPS. Sorry about the short notice, but the nature of the fault means we may lose power to the Computer Room at any time until the fault is fixed. We will try to keep the down time to a minimum.
