Last time I checked, NZNOG wasnt the Xtra Helpdesk... Pretty sure that Xtra have had a DNS Fault tonight, so the flow-on effects will be for domains hosted by Xtra and for Xtra customers using Auto-assigned DNS (or people still using alien/terminator in their static config). Their MTA is fine. Their DNS has been fine each time i've tested it for at least the last hour. These things happen. Xtras main falling down here, it seems, is communicating with their customers... FTR there is a Network Status Message at http://xtra.co.nz/help, however it is rarely of any use. Suggest that unless the problem gets any bigger in terms of affect-on-other-networks, that further discussion on NZNOG is probably of no benefit to the others on the list, then again thats just my personal POV....
