I've just been forwarded this note seeking your input for changes that Peter wishes to make to his applications.
Sorry, but thats not what I said. I post it again below:-
Is this group interested in working with us to identify a common industry specification
My interest is contributing our experience and resources into a specification which can benefit the entire industry.
From Domainz standpoint, I would ask that if you know of areas of weakness, or areas that you wish to improve, then you draw up a list to forward them directly to me.
We think our time and that of other providers would be better spent on working together to come up with a specification. It would be helpful if a technical resource from Domainz could be made available to participate.
Clearly we are continually looking at improvements to the process, and any thoughts that you do have, we would like to harmonise them inside our own development priorities where sensible.
What has become clear to us as your largest billing customer and manager of nearly 10% of commercial domains in NZ, is that whilst you say you are interested in improvements for the benefit of Internet providers, your delivery has been woefully inadequate. Sorry Patrick, but I for one do not believe a word you say. regards Peter Mott Chief Enthusiast 2Day Internet Limited http://www.2day.net.nz -/- --------- To unsubscribe from nznog, send email to majordomo(a)list.waikato.ac.nz where the body of your message reads: unsubscribe nznog
