Can anyone tell me if there is there anything special about 202.50.82.192/32? Right now, it looks like just a random (unused) address in the TELECOMIS-NZ network? -cw --------- To unsubscribe from nznog, send email to majordomo(a)list.waikato.ac.nz where the body of your message reads: unsubscribe nznog

I'm seeing an OSPF advertisement across NZIX, and a BGP advertisement in Auckland from Telecom for 202.50.80.0/22: BGP routing table entry for 202.50.80.0/22, version 282 Paths: (2 available, best #2) Local 140.200.128.9 (metric 20) from 203.97.0.235 (203.167.226.150) Origin incomplete, metric 18, localpref 80, valid, internal Community: 4768:0 4768:300 4648 9325 202.37.245.33 (metric 20) from 203.97.0.236 Origin IGP, localpref 85, valid, internal, best Community: 4768:0 4768:200 The 4768:300 community is the NZIX-learnt route; 4768:200 comes from our direct peering in Auckland. 9325 is Xtra. High UDP packets are blocked into Xtra, so I can't trace the route. I'm not sure this is what you were asking though. What /were/ you asking? :) Joe --------- To unsubscribe from nznog, send email to majordomo(a)list.waikato.ac.nz where the body of your message reads: unsubscribe nznog

I'm not sure... I have this address in one of the MTA management databases here, but for the life of me can't work out where its come from. I guess I'll just have to go grep though several GB of service orders and see if I can find it... -cw --------- To unsubscribe from nznog, send email to majordomo(a)list.waikato.ac.nz where the body of your message reads: unsubscribe nznog
