Ah, the joys of my favourite and personal network provider.....
There is one vital fact that has been missed though.... any financial advantage accrued through the economics espoused above, is completely negated by the scale of the PC wreckage around Simon's desk. I've seen it... in fact it run's over two desks....., around the floor past the aerials, over the carpet.... who needs $25 NIC cards when you can sidle up to Si's desk and suggest humbly that "this has been here 6 months.....would you mind if I tested it..."
Dean can vouch for me, so this email can be seen to vendor independenet........
Its a part of our policy of encouraging an environment of open experimentation in the area of interoperability, especially between vendors. Why did you shift the buildings Richard, were they in the way of your trolley lines? :-) :-) Sorry, I'll go back to work now. -- Michael Newbery Technical Specialist TelstraSaturn Limited Tel: +64-4-939 5102 Mobile: +64-29-939 5102 Fax: +64-4-922 8401 --------- To unsubscribe from nznog, send email to majordomo(a)list.waikato.ac.nz where the body of your message reads: unsubscribe nznog

Didn't you see it last week. Crane was silly so the trolley wires just jumped up and grabbed it and threw it to the ground ! honest. Our fiber cable saved the day again. Tuff stuff this fiber.

Heh, I went for a walk to check out the damage done to the building a couple of hours after the crane fell over. While I was staanding gawking I noticed the trolley bus wires were completely stuffed. Then I noticed what looking suspiciously like Citylink fiber which was, uhh ... rather tightly stretched. When I went back to the office I asked around if anybody had heard of any problems with Citylink customers. None. Tuff stuff this fiber.
