This means that new name registrations, changes and cancellations will not be "live" on the DNS by 6:00 pm this evening. Waikato have indicated that this issue could take some hours to resolve. This means that the primary zone files will may not be reloaded until some time tomorrow morning. I will update you using these lists as I am aware of progress. Can you be more specific as to the cause?

Peter, First up, let me confirm that the issue was resolved, and the zones files were built and primary loaded well before 6:00 tonight. Regarding the reason, prima facie it did not appear to be specific to the zone build suite, but was a conflict in the Linux operating system. I chose to alert yourselves because the issue manifested in such a way that it could have been "service impacting". Thankfully it wasn't, and our approach this evening was to ensure that the system was updated as per usual. Tomorrow we'll review the issue that arose and investigate further just to make sure that we've closed it off.
