I'm getting farmed off by a support desk for some connection issues into the Orcon datacentre. They claim there's a telecom exchange underwater up that way and that's why they are having issues. Sounds very fishy as I'm not aware of any other issues. They can't provide details. Sent from my iPhone
It wouldn't be a Telecom Exchange as they are all (well the vast majority are) owned by Chorus now. Makes sense - Chorus exchanges are often below ground and made to
handle being fully flooded - if there's been a lot of rain recently it
could still be draining out?
