It varies. depends if they used cable location services or not & the owner of the cable. but I believe it is usually it is all or a portion of the cost of the repair. Well... After Thursday Night Curry -- at 22:00 (I have work tomorrow) they were still working on it, as I drove over the bridge... 2 Vans, looking like they should have been on uppers!
Could someone please explain what 'uppers' means in this context ? Chris Hodgetts wrote, On Thu 05/02/2009 22:13:

DOH .. 2 Vans, and it looked like 3 guys, who should be on uppers...
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas comes to mind... then again so does Requiem For a Dream :) "We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, and a whole galaxy of uppers, downers, laughers, screamers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get into a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can." -----Original Message----- From: Ian Batterbee [mailto:ibatterb(a)gmail.com] Sent: Thursday, 5 February 2009 10:31 p.m. To: nznog(a)list.waikato.ac.nz Subject: Re: [nznog] Telstra Fibre Outage?
