Congestion on Telecom bandwidth towards the Commonwealth Games streams

Hi Folks. Those of you who are using Telecom to get at the Commonwealth Games streams (rather than peering) may want to flush your DNS cache entries for "media6.tvnz.co.nz" (yes, we know the TTL's should have been wound down earlier, it got missed). If you do this, the RR DNS load balancing should kick in thus: before: $ host media6.tvnz.co.nz media6.tvnz.co.nz has address 202.7.7.65 after a cache clear, you should get: $ host media6.tvnz.co.nz media6.tvnz.co.nz has address 202.7.7.65 media6.tvnz.co.nz has address 202.7.7.57 Cheers Si
