I currently have an IPExpress circuit from TelstraClear providing Internet access. I'd like to be able to have staff use some kind of fast IP service (ie ADSL), to connect in to the office to do thier work, I don't want Internet access over these links, just some form of nationally accessable 'VPN'. It only needs to be 1-2Mbit speed, but can't complain if its more. Is this kind of thing being done? I tried to contact Telecom about it only to have some customer support monkey tell me that ADSL is an Internet thing, and as much as I love dealing with support people... I assume many replies to this will be deemed commercial and OT, so please contact me off-list. Nathan Ward
Hi There, Why not just use a VPN; there are a few free unix versions such as poptop or ipsec. If you know about VPN's etc, then why not use one, is there a reason you don't want to do this? If you're not happy about running your own VPN at the office, Telstra Clear offer a VPN package AFAIK. Cheers Barry Quoting nward(a)esphion.com:
