Gidday, Just wondering if any network operators etc here are using or have seen any kind of device that can measure voltage/current out there somewhere on a network and we can interrogate it remotely and may even send alerts etc if drops below threshold etc? Would have to be resonably affordable, and in simple kit form or off the shelf.
If nothing available that anyone can think of I may develop something along these lines, cheap, simple, ethernet, and probably 12V Open for discussion if anyone remotely interested.
google for a Link-10 or Link-20, I think they now do ethernet, it used to be serial, but you just chucked in a Lantronix thingy
