Think I prefer the version that uses the "shutdown" command instead. Anyway, I think it would be very hard indeed to sic the lawyers onto someone who simply notifies admins of infected systems, thus doing them (and many other Internet users) a favour. Craig Whitmore writes:

It's probably about as legal as the URL that was posted recently (I forget if it was nznog or adsl) which was formatted to copy a file on somebodies hacked server when clicked on - eg, not very :) I certainly wont be doing it, I provided the URL only for informational purposes since I thought using ssi's was a clever way to respond to the default.ida queries.... On the other hand, sometimes the only way to fight fire, is with fire...
